The most important element in maximizing the life of your fence is a quality installation. T-Bar Fence guarantees our product for one year. What is the best type of wood to use for my fence? T-Bar fence uses a variety of wood of its fences. A T-Bar representative will help you select the right type of wood based on your needs. This selection will ensure a long life for your new fence. What heights of wooden fences are available? Since T-Bar manufactures most of its fences, we provide great flexibility in height and sizes. Standard heights for wooden fences are usually 6' or 8', depending on city ordinances. Before building a new fence, what type of information do I need to provide T-Bar Fence? After you have decided to install a fence, we need to know the following:
How deep do fence posts have to be set into the ground? This depends upon many factors, including type and style of fence, height of fence, and climate in your area. Under normal conditions, posts will be set into the ground approximately 24 inches. Be sure to let your T-Bar representative know of placement of sprinkler heads in your yard. Prior to construction, T-Bar will order a survey of your property to locate any electrical, gas or cable lines.
